The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is a 16 mile line tourist line operating out of the historic town of Cumberland, Maryland. The railroad owns several pieces of vintage rail equipment, including two steam locomotives. Number 734 is a 2-8-0 “Consolidation” type originally built to haul iron ore trains for the Lake Superior and Ishpemming on the Great Lakes.
